Story: Twenty- eight years ago, when my oldest sister was born, my great grandmother made a baby blanket for her. The simple flannel blanket with a design on one side and a solid color complement it on the other. was handmade with delicate stitches and lots of love. That blanket was literally loved to pieces,  but even in tatters the blanket could be found stuffed under my sister’s pillow at college, providing a cherished memory of her childhood.

Today, I carry on the tradition of my great grandma by hand stitching blankets for my close friends when they are expecting a baby, my special gift to them, a one of a kind blanket for both them and their baby to cherish. I’ve had so many compliments from everyone who receives one that I thought it would be great to allow more people the opportunity to have these special hand stitched blankets.
